 The
new Brocade SilkWorm 12000 Core Fabric Switch, available
in 64-port and dual 64-port configurations, expands the
capabilities of existing fibre
channel storage environments.
The
SilkWorm 12000 offers a highly available architecture designed
for optimal data reliability in a storage network. Features
include hot swappable FRUs including redundant power supplies;
cooling systems; switch modules; and processors, and support
for non-disruptive software upgrades.
The
SilkWorm 12000 provides core backbone switch capabilities
to allow SANs to scale to 1,000s of ports, providing investment
